Building AI-native systems that extend
what humans can do.
Cisco Engineering Manager in Seattle, WA.
I'm an Engineering Manager at Cisco leading the Wireless Intelligent Services team, where I build AI-powered network systems and the agentic workflows that power our development process.
My edge is at the intersection of engineering leadership and applied AI. I don't just manage teams — I integrate frontier AI into how those teams think, ship, and iterate.
Born in China, I moved to the US in 2014 and am based in Seattle, WA. Outside of systems and code: I photograph deep-sky objects, run long distances, play guitar (acoustic and electric), and watch or play nearly any sport that involves a ball.
I believe tacit knowledge is a design problem. If it can't be captured, encoded, and reused, it's a liability. That belief shapes how I build teams, tools, and systems.
Leading a team of 6–8 software engineers building AI-powered network intelligence systems. Primary project: AI-RRM — a machine learning system for automated Radio Resource Management that optimizes wireless network performance at scale.
Driving an AI-native development culture: integrating agentic workflows, LLM-assisted tooling, and context infrastructure into daily engineering practice. Building the systems that let my team move faster and think deeper.
12+ years in software engineering across networking infrastructure, distributed systems, and AI applications.
A personal AI workspace system — rules, memory, skills, and agent orchestration patterns that turn Claude into a persistent, context-rich second brain.
AI-powered Radio Resource Management system for Cisco wireless networks. Applies reinforcement learning to optimize spectrum allocation and reduce interference at scale.
This site. Built with Astro, Tailwind v4, and React. Designed as a living portfolio — the code and design are intentional artifacts, not an afterthought.
A collection of agentic development workflows integrating Claude Code, parallel subagents, and structured memory into the software engineering process.
Automated image stacking, calibration, and post-processing pipeline for deep-sky astrophotography. Built to handle raw sensor data from long-exposure sessions.
Actively looking for interesting side projects and business opportunities — especially at the intersection of AI tooling, productivity, and knowledge management.
Long-exposure sessions targeting nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters. Written complete imaging tutorials. Serious gear collector.
Half marathon finisher. Always training further.
Acoustic and electric. Finding rhythm in the noise.
Basketball for a decade. Golf, badminton, and a fan of nearly every sport that exists.
I'm currently exploring senior engineering leadership roles, AI/tech advisory opportunities, and ambitious side projects. If you're building something that matters, let's talk.
